Description
Portrait of woman in profile, wearing bodice and skirt of draped fabric with velvet collar and lower sleeves. The bodice, elbow cuffs and mid-section are accented with lighter fabric. "Chas. Billings's daughter" written on reverse. From a leather-bound album containing 23 cabinet cards and cartes-de-visite. Most of the studios were located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, especially Lowell, although the cartes-de-visite were taken in California.
