Description
Photographic postcard of a long staircase in Shiogama, Japan. A clearing leads to three steps at the bottom of the photo. At the top of the three steps is a Torii. Beyond the torii is a second set of steps. This staircase is very long and extends toward the top of the photo. Three people are in the middle of the staircase walking toward the top. Several statues and monuments line the bottom right side of the photo. A building is at the top of the stairs and is visible through a clearing in the trees.
