Description
Sprawled like the skeleton of a giant dinosaur, the melted and collapsed tower of a blown-out well in Inglewood Country Club, lies wrecked alongside the erupting well. White-hot flames and a mixture of mud and oil gush skyward while firemen play water on other nearby equipment to prevent the spread of flames. Attempts to cap the well may be made. Photo dated: December 31, 1952.
