Title supplied by cataloger. Free Will Baptist is a denomination of churches that share a common history, name, and an acceptance of the Arminian theology of free grace, free salvation, and free will, based on the idea of general atonement. Furthermore, it shares similar soteriological views (theology that deals with salvation) with General Baptists, Separate Baptists, and some United Baptists. But, the Free Will Baptist Doctrine is distinguished from the majority of Baptist groups in that Free will Baptists reject the popular Baptist view of "unconditional perseverance of the saints". Instead, Free Will Baptist Doctrine holds to the traditional Arminias position, based on the belief in a General Atonement. Corner view of Bautista Libre/Free Will Baptist Church located at 7235 Granger Avenue in the city of Bell Gardens. It shows a peach-color church with a brown roof and a steeple above the main entrance. A long, thin, white cross hangs from the side of the church, which is surrounded by a security fence.
