Block 745 and 745 1/2. Standing on ground in front of Affiliated Colleges, looking north and east down Parnassus Avenue, showing entire frontage of Block 745 -- view 2 (2013-1355SUT). No. 49. Block 745 and 745 1/2. Standing on the westerly line of First Avenue, opposite Carl Street, looking south and east at lower end of Block 745, showing Carl Street and part of First Avenue -- view 3 (2013-1356SUT). No. 50. Block 745 aND 745 1/2. Standing on the northerly side of Carl Street, midway between Willard and First Avenue, looking south across Carl Street at High Bluff, part of Block 745 -- view 4 (2013-1357SUT). No. 51. Parnassus Heights (Block 745 1/2). Standing on knoll in Block 745 ot the north of Parnassus Avenue, looking southwesterly across Parnassus Avenue towards the Sutro Forest and Affiliated Colleges. Level land represents Block 745 1/2. The Affiliated Colleges (Toland Medical College, California College of Pharmacy and University of California) consolidated their various campuses on land in Parnassus Heights donated by Sutro. Eventually became the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.
