Description
Photograph of an external view of the Union Oil Company, October, 1937. Two light colored cylinders can be seen in the right foreground. At center, a large, tall pipe can be seen. Six platforms are attached to the pipe from the base to the top, connected by metal ladders. A series of pipes and pressure gauges can be at the base of the tall pipe, to the left of the light colored cylinders in the foreground. Two large drums can be seen behind the tall pipe, as well as an open, flat, square area, surrounded by more pipes and cylinders in the background. Portions of two buildings can be seen at left, one in the foreground, the other behind it in the background. A third small building can be seen in the distance.
