Photograph caption dated November 1, 1959 reads "Samuel K. Hoffman, right, vice president and general manager of Rocketdyne division of North American Aviation in Canoga Park, points to portions of construction in Valley Presbyterian Hospital's building program which have been made possible by Rocketdyne's $20,000 donation. Hospital officials discussing use of money with Hoffman are Robert Fuller, left, vice president and treasurer of VPH board of directors, and Max Schonfeld, board member. Rocketdyne money will go into construction fund being raised to provide four-story, 120-bed addition to hospital."
