Description
This March 28, 1938 photograph captures the west side of the Hotel Sacramento. Visible on the structure's first floor are the Hotel Sacramento's Coffee Shop (1107 10th St.), and Dr. Locke's X-Ray Shoe Store (1115 10th St.). The five-story structure was built in 1909 under the leadership of Alden Anderson for a cost of $325,000 during a Sacramento construction frenzy that would result in the building of both City Hall and Saint Francis Church.
