Description
The Way It Is is intended to present the California grower in a manner seldom seen, goiing about the day-to-day business for growing and harvesting, and then marketing the fruits of his labor. This film was one of a series of films produced in the 1960s and 1970s by the Council of California Growers for public education. This film depicts the average California farmer as they struggle with ithe cost-price squeeze, inflation, urbanization, raising taxes, and over-production. Asset Type: Program
