Possibly this portrait is for her wedding. Bottom of photo reads: 'Twas said at our marriage, "Ella will be..." She and Thomas Gould had two children, Olive Crane Gould (born 1881), and Thomas Crane Gould, Jr. (born 1885). Library records indicate she "propagated the first ruffled petunias."
