Photograph caption dated May 5, 1964 reads, "Advanced composition students from Jordan High School yesterday were the guests of their counterparts at Polytechnic High in Sun Valley for talks and hot dogs on campus." Students exchanged compositions on what they thought it would be like for a minority group member to visit Polytechnic. After reading each other's compositions they decided they would like to meet. In doing so, they shared ideas about various topics and ate lunch together.
