Description
Photograph of the main business street in Dutch Flat showing the old hotel, ca.1930. The hotel is a three-story clapboard structure with a covered porch and two large balconies. There are stairways at left that lead up to the top floors. There are trees flanking the hotel on both sides. The porch has several wooden chairs on it. In the 1860's, Dutch Flat was considered one of the most important townships in California. Very few of the old buildings remain.
