Description
Time was when a 220-yard dash in 20.7s. would have been nothing short of sensational, but when Owens hit the tape in this time at the Coliseum Saturday, it drew nothing but perfunctory cheers from the crowd. Owens holds a record of 20.3s. This photo at the finish shows the distance by which he beat Foy Draper, the gallant Trojan runner.
