Description
Handwritten note on reverse: "Mrs. Douglas (Constance B.) Perham, widow of Douglas M. Perham, cofounder of Perham Foundation, looking at a part of Dr. Herrold's first radio - and the used lamp Mr. George Westinghouse presented to Douglas at his visit to Columbian Exposition, with his grandfather, a retired whaling captain James Cleveland, which started Doug collecting." Behind her is an exhibit of portions of Doc Charles Herrold's radio broadcasting equipment.
