Photograph of a Bleriot monoplane passing over a group of farmers and mules, June 1910. The fragile-looking airplane is in the upper left corner. Its fuselage is a bare wooden frame behind the cockpit, and it sports a number two behind the wing. The four farmers are standing near a plow and looking up at the aircraft two are shielding their eyes with their hats. There are eight mules visible, six hitched to the plow, and another two behind the plow in the bottom right corner.
