4 images. Marine shot by officers (Car Theft), 31 December 1957. Corporal John Serino (found in stolen car, shot by officers) Officer Edward Neville Officer R.L. Potter Officer J.N. Rieth Therese Richaurd - 20 yrs and Irene Marsolek (both were in car with Marine). Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Wesselmann. Date: 1957-12-31. Assignment: Marine shot by cop at 6th & Manhattan. 4: Policemen who shot Marine at 6th & Manhattan Pl. early this a.m. Victim was Cpl. John Serino. Cops are Eward Neville, left and R.L. Potter at scene. 9: Policemen J.N. Rieth inspects stolen car which victim drove. 10: PFC Noel Land, 18, was the other Marine in the stolen car. 15: Therese Richaurd, 20, left and Irene Marsolek were in the car with the two Marines."
