Description
Photograph article dated August 12, 1960 partially reads, "A 24-year-old Valley man is being held in Van Nuys jail today on charges that he beat and abused his 3-year-old stepson while the man's wife of two weeks was away from the house. Robert E. McDowell, 6809 Valley Circle Blvd., Canoga Park, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon against Donald W. Yeamen, his wife's son by a former marriage."
