Photographic portrait of William F. Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill, copied from a book, [s.d.]. Cody is shown from his torso to his head and is looking slightly to the right with his body facing straight ahead. He is wearing a dark jacket with a handkerchief in his pocket at right, a dark vest, a light shirt, a dark tie, and a dark hat. He has a graying goatee and mustache and his long hair sticks out from his hat in the back. The picture is signed in the upper left corner with the words, "To Charles Beman(?) From H. [...]". He lived from 1846 to 1917.
