Edgar F. Kaiser Papers
The bulk of the papers were transferred to The Bancroft Library by Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. and consist primarily of corporate files from Kaiser's tenure as president and chairman of the board of Kaiser Industries Corporation. Also included are records from his earlier career as vice president and general manager of Oregon Shipbuilding Corp. and Kaiser Company, Inc., followed by those from his tenure as president of Kaiser Motors Corp. and general manager of Kaiser-Frazer Corporation's automobile plant at Willow Run, Mich. Also included are personal papers given by Kaiser's family.

Edith Harvey Heron Collection
Edith Harvey Heron, the daughter of William S. and Ada Heron, was born January 2, 1895, in San Jose, California, After graduating from San Jose High School in 1914, she attended San Jose Normal School and graduated in 1918. Following a short-term teaching career in art therapy, she attended the California School of Arts and Crafts for two years (1920-22) and in 1929 earned a B. Heath (Brian & Edith)/Heath Ceramics Collection
This collection contains audio/visual materials digitized from the Brian and Edith Heath/Heath Ceramics Collection (2011-1). A/V materials include archival footage of Edith Heath in her garden in Tiburon, California and at a ceremony for her oral history published through the Regional Oral History Office (ROHO); as well as two videos of still images of Edith Heath's personal artwork and her ceramic work for Heath Ceramics.

Edith Hipkins collection of British artists' letters
Correspondence from numerous British artists during the 19th and early 20th century received and collected by British painter Edith Hipkins. The majority of the correspondence consists of personal letters sent to Hipkins and her father, musician Alfred J. Hipkins.

Edla Muir (1906-1971)
Edla Muir, also known by her married name, Edla Muir Lambie, was born in San Francisco, California on January 23, 1906. At the age of 13, Muir worked summers and weekends in the architectural firm of John Byers. When she graduated from Inglewood High School in 1923, she worked as an office assistant for Byers until 1926, when she was promoted to draftswomen and designer. In 1934, after receiving her architectural license, Byers and Muir formed a partnership, renaming the firm John Byers and Edla Muir, Associated Architects. When the firm dissolved in 1942, Muir became the principle of her …

Edmonia Lewis Sculptures
Mary Edmonia Lewis was born in 1845 or 1846. Both of her parents passed away early in her life; her African American father in 1847 and her mother of Mississauga and African American descent two years later. She stayed with her mother’s tribe near Niagara Falls until the age of eight. Her brother, Samuel “Sunrise” W. Lewis, provided her financial support throughout her life. He funded her early schooling near Albany and later her attendance at Oberlin College in Ohio. Her career at Oberlin ended abruptly when she was accused of poisoning two of her white roommates. Edna Watson Bailey Photographs
Photographs collected by Edna Watson Bailey, a graduate student at the Marine Biological Association of San Diego, later Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Some of the images may have been formerly mounted in an album or scrapbook. Subjects include Bailey and members of her family, work colleagues, La Jolla, early Scripps laboratory facilities, and the July 25, 1906 wreck of the research vessel Loma off Point Loma in San Diego, California. Selected images from this collection have been digitized.

Edson Smith Photo Collection
The Edson Smith Photograph collection contains nearly 1,500 early images of Santa Barbara County dating from the 1870s-1940s, many of which were collected by Santa Barbara native, and long-time resident, Edson A. Smith (1877-1947). The photographs capture historic buildings, adobes, houses, views of State Street, cultural landmarks, local dignitaries, and many events including early Fiesta parades, the arrival of the first Southern Pacific train in Santa Barbara in 1887, and the Santa Barbara Earthquake on June 29, 1925. Over 300 of the 1,500 images are online to view now; more coming soon.

Educational Dataset Service Collection Machine-learning suitable datasets curated for use in instruction
The UC San Diego Educational Dataset Service (EDS) houses curated datasets suitable for use for machine learning in instruction and research, including real research datasets, sanitized and synthetic administrative data from campus sources, and datasets commonly used for training in specific disciplines. The associated website also offers guidance and training for students on working with associated datasets, such as how to re-use data, how to cite sources, and how to work with metadata.

Edward A. Killingsworth (1917-2004): Hotels
Edward Abel Killingsworth was born in Taft, California in 1917. He attended the University of Southern California where he began his academic career studying painting but after a year, decided to switch his course of study to architecture. Killingsworth graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1940. He served in WWII as a Captain in the Army Corps of Engineers where he supervised the production of more than 8 million photo-maps in preparation of the allied invasion of Europe.
