Description
Photograph was taken looking north. The road across the top of the photo is Foothill Boulevard. The street at left is Dartmouth Avenue which curves into College Way at the bottom of the photo. Parallel to and east of Dartmouth is Columbia Avenue. Honnold Library is the large white building just east of the curve in Dartmouth Avenue. Tenth Street runs east-west immediately behind Honnold Library. The buildings located north east of Tenth Street and Columbia Avenue belong to the Scripps College campus with Balch Hall, Malott Commons, and the Margaret Fowler Garden as the most identifiable landmarks. The campus directly east of Honnold Library is Claremont McKenna College with Pitzer Hall, Roberts Hall North, and Roberts Hall South prominently featured. The Pomona College campus is in the lower right corner. The two large buildings at the bottom of the photo are Walker Hall and Clark V. The buildings to their right are Clark I, Frary Dining Hall, and Clark III.
