Photograph of the top of the ninety-nine steps leading from the top of the Palisades Park to the beach in Santa Monica, ca.1910. A dirt path is in the foreground at left and intersects another path that cuts across the center of the image. A fence made of twisted wood runs along the edge of the cliff at center, and a sign at center reads "To Palisades Beach via 99 Steps". The area around the paths and the sign is full of small bushes and squat palm trees.
