Description
Standing on Front St., then the heart of the business district, was a popular pastime in early-day Norwalk. Note the sign for the Los Angeles Herald circulation office at upper right. Norwalk's population in 1900 was 1050. Today it exceeds 90,000. Photo dated: May 12, 1961.
