Description
Connie and Charles begin the interview discussing the mythology of the American Revolution before proceeding to discuss the background of Robert Morris and his history in commerce, specifically shipping, and the influence of free market thinking during the era in which he lived. They go on to discuss the soldiers fighting in the American Revolutionary War and the ensuing Critical Period in American history before talking about Morris’s beliefs and activities. Connie and Charles then discuss the significance of Morris’s legacy and its relation to the United States. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
