Description
Tearing up of the tracks of the Mt. Tamalpais Scenic Railway about a half of a mile down the grade from the Summit Avenue horseshoe curve. The East Peak fills the background. Engine #8 is visible on the work train. When the Scenic Railway closed in 1930, rails and ties were removed.
