Description
Note translation: If, as we suppose, this album dates to the inter-war period, a photograph with this caption is an anomaly. It may show the old "Basel Mission Factory", at the time of photographing being used by UTC or some other institution. Or it may be a photograph from before 1914. Probably it reflects the continuing use of an old name after it had been superceded by the arrangements allowing the Basel Mission to return to Ghana in the mid-1920s. (PJ 07.1998).
