Description
Chris Ishii, one of the staff of 12 for "The Pacemaker," was later sent to the Granada Concentration Camp in Amache, Colorado. Prior to the war, he has worked an assistant animator for Disney Studios.
Chief morale builder at Santa Anita is the mimeographed English newspaper, "The Pacemaker," edited by Eddie Shimano, shown in eye-shade talking to his cartoonist, Chris Ishii, on June 25, 1943.
