In 1970, Deauville was renamed Braemar Country Club.
Photograph caption dated April 30, 1963 reads, "Picture at left shows workmen installing plastic liner in new irrigation lake constructed at Deauville Country Club." An eight-gauge polyvinyl chloride plastic liner enabled the country club to construct the irrigation lake needed to maintain the golf course green in soil that normally would not hold water. Advance Research Corporation that deals in design and installation of lake-liners was in charge of the project.
