1 image. Warren Hillman -- 18 years (with balloon which he designed and announced he would fly against warning from Civil Aaeronautics Administration), 30 March 1957. Duncan Vanderbilt (Pumping air).
Supplementary material reads: "Warren Hilman, 18, of Santa Ana (left) operates valve on his red nylon balloon, which he designed and announced he would fly Sunday, March 31, against warning of CAA. He planned to make parachute jump at 10,000 feet. With him is Duncan "Bud" Vanderbilt, Anaheim, pumping air from a vacuum cleaner to test for leakage".
