Description
Alamitos Bay fills the central portion of this aerial closeup. The eastern end of Alamitos Peninsula is clearly visible at right, with Ocean Boulevard bisecting the residential area. The peninsula's shoreline and a portion of the ocean can also be seen in the upper right quadrant of the image. In the lower left corner of the print is Naples Island. The San Gabriel River flows along from left to right, near the top of the image. Pacific Coast Highway runs across a bridge and through the upper left quadrant into Seal Beach. Next to the San Gabriel River, the Long Beach Marina is pictured. The Seal Beach Pier and shoreline is also pictured in the upper right quadrant of the image. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG.
