Description
A panoramic group portrait at Tallac House, Lake Tahoe. There are around 175 people, men, women, and children, seated and standing on the porch and lawn of Tallac House, a large hotel surrounded by tall pines.
According to Tahoe place names by Barbara Lekisch, 1988 : Tallac House was built in 1879 and operated until the early 1920s (pp. 134-135 ).
