The club, opened in 1930, was the second location for Rainbow Angling Fisheries, which originated in the Redlands area. This popular fishing spot, which included a restaurant, existed until 1964, when a fire destroyed the clubhouse. In the early 1980s, a somewhat unsuccessful redevelopment condominium project was designed specifically to revive the lake. View of the lakefront building at the Rainbow Angling Club, located at 555 E. 10th Street in Azusa. In the foreground are various types of lake plants on the shore of the man-made lake. A few people are seen walking on the path on the left and in the background outside the clubhouse.
