Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Charles M. Hatfield, rainmaker, set up his apparatus in Hemet. The process is simple, he says--just erect two or more 24-foot towers and set out pans of chemicals (but he won't tell which chemicals!). He was preparing a downpour to fill the Hemet Dam.
