Description
Aerial image of San Francisco viewed from the East Bay, with the Palace Hotel rising tall above the rest of the city. Treasure Island is in the foregound. The sun is rising over the ocean. "Palace Hotel" is printed next to the hotel. "The Golden Gate International Exposition 1939. A Pageant of The Pacific. San Francisco" is printed underneath Treasure Island. On the reverse is a description of the Palace Hotel: "New Montgomery and Market Streets in the heart of San Francisco is the most convenient hotel to the Exposition, and is located but two blocks from the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge Terminal. It cominbes the modern comfort of a world-famous hotel with the traditional courtesy which marked the days of the Dons in California. 550 rooms, each with bath."
