Description
The photo captioned printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 25, 1959 states: "Uniformed members of a visiting band were photographed outside the spring house of the fame(d) Bartlett Springs resort in Lake County, just across the Colusa County line, during the late 19th Century. The main hotel is in the background. At the time the picture was taken, the resort was operating prosperously."
