In 1930, when the station was being rebuilt it was the scene of a spectacular pre-dawn fire when leaking gasoline was ignited by the flames of a lantern. This was the first Shell Station in Mill Valley. Now occupied by the Mountain Shop and Cheese Unlimited. 1983 Walk." Bergis-Hagstrom, Realtors, later Red Carpet Realtors was located at #85 during the 70's.
