Photograph of the International monument between U.S. and Mexico, ca. 1900. The marker, which delineates the border between the U.S. and Mexico, is pictured at center, a squat obelisk surrounded by a metal fence with sharpened, in-turned spikes at the top. In the far distance to the right, what appears to be either a water tank or a kiln is visible on top of a wooden platform. The surrounding area is filled with scrub grass.
