Description
A woman in a green dress, with a high collar and three-quarter length sleeves. The woman is wearing a black trimmed with large pink roses on the brim, with more under it on one side. She holds a green ruffled parasol. The blouse is floral patterned with an extremely high neck. The bodice and sleeves of the dress have vertical bands of white with a floral pattern, alternating with bands of green with narrow tucking. The neckline is deeply scooped with a curved collar edged with narrow ruffles. A black ribbon or belt encircles her waist with a bow at the front. More black bows adorn the left side of the dress rather like a corsage. She wears long white gloves. Though the dress is drawn, her face is a tinted photograph. The background is a pattern of roses on a twining vine and to the right is a black and white back view of her dress.
