Description
Elizabeth Short's murder is referred to as the "Black Dahlia" case. This is a photograph of Robert Manley, second figure from the left, the last known person to have seen Short alive, testifying at the inquest. According to reports, Manley drove Short from San Diego to Los Angeles a week before her body was found in a Los Angeles vacant lot. Manley had taken two lie-detector tests and was cleared.
