Description
Shown here is the interior upper floor of a fashionable clothing store. Several fancy chairs and pedestal lamps are placed around the carpeted room, and floor length mirrors are mounted along the walls. Near the front right foreground is an elaborately carved and upholstered late Victorian conversation, or "tete-a-tete" chair, for seating two people. Between mirrors are doors suggesting fitting rooms. A tapestry scene is mounted on the wall in the background. The ceiling just above the stairs appears to have water damage. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG. IMAGE: 8" x 10" B&W glossy print. NEGATIVE: Yes. KEYWORDS: Interior, design, decorating.
