Taken from back of the photograph: California Booster arrives in New York. Miss Silvey Pearle Tinlser, Sacramento's only woman lawyer, who was selected by the chamber of commerce of the capitol of California, to become Miss California and start on a 6-months tour of the country to boost her home state. She will visit every large city in every state in the union giving short talks on the wonder and products of California. She arrived in New York on January 13th and found the almost zero weather much different from the golden state climate.
