A beautician checks how her customer's permanent is proceeding in a beauty shop in Oxfords Drug Store on Pine Avenue in Long Beach. Her customer, an older woman, has large curlers on her head. The curlers are attached by tubing to a machine, wrapped in towels, that hovers over her head. Photograph dated: June, 1934.
