Photograph caption dated February 27, 1987 reads, "Three uneasy children partake of a comforting blanket after a rough ride in a runaway pickup truck. Police said the driver, Julia Molina, had gotten out to pour fluid into the ailing transmission yesterday when the vehicle started to roll down Rosecrans Boulevard in Manhattan Beach with the three children in the pickup's cab. Molina gave chase but took a painful tumble. The scary trip ended when the truck hit a garage. The children were shaken but unhurt."
