Description
Photograph caption dated August 20, 1955 reads, "Mrs. Frank J. Sigler of Chatsworth points to a fissure in the ground she says was opened up by recent explosion-like noises that have rocked the West Valley." Both the Air Force and North American Aviation have denied being the cause.
