"Liebesmahl in Xentu" ("Love-feast in Xentu"). This photograph shows approximately twenty-five people, among them children and women. Roughly ten people are sitting in a circle, eating. Five of them are wearing light-coloured dresses (or blouses), others are wearing dark clothing and are covered in dark draperies. Nine children are standing near two trees. They are neatly dressed. Some other children are sitting together (on the left). In the background is a house. Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Moravian Church from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
