Description
Six young women sitting on the porch steps of a house, with a dog on the porch behind them. Handwritten above the photograph: "Mill Valley". Handwritten below the photograph: "Trixie, Hazel, Irene, Mabelle." According to the donor, those pictured are identified as follows: Top row: unknown, Beatrice (Trixie) Kelly (1884-1971), Hazel Windmiller (1885-1945), Bottom row: Irene Coffin (1888-1999), unknown, Maybelle Kelly (1888-1966). Also according to the donor, the girls identified by name were all cousins and grew up partially in Mill Valley. The two unidentified girls were probably local friends.
