Photograph caption dated October 15, 1963 reads, "Star Lincoln-Mercury of Burbank delivered their first 1964 Lincoln Continental to a man who should know Lincoln's best. He was Joe Britt, center, who received the keys to his seventh Continental from Edward Harvell, left, and it was the third purchased from the Burbank agency. Ed Jussen, owner of Star Lincoln-Mercury, opens the door of the car and passes along his warmest appreciations to Britt, reminding him of their slogan, 'a better deal by far from Star.'"
