Description
Correspondence written to Charles Handy on Independence Day. The note, from “Toby,” indicates that he has received and read a copy of Charles Handy's “The Elephant and the Flea.” Toby proceeds to praise the book but discusses what he identifies as some of the book's shortcomings, including the use of the term "federalism," which he finds problematic, and the topic of democracy. He closes the letter thanking Handy for the book.
