Description
This print, marked, "Alamitos Library Association," shows three fashionably dressed women gathered around a table, holding four children"s books. Book-filled shelves are in the background. From left to right, are: Mrs. Charles Reed, President; Mrs. H. L. Dodge, Program Chair; and Miss Helen Fuller, Assistant Librarian. Historian, Mrs. A. S. Phillips is not pictured. Two of the four featured books can be identified as, A Bell for Ursli, by Alois Carigiet (1950); and The Blue Cat Of Castle Town, by Catherine Cate Coblentz (1954). DATE NOTES: Circa 1954. ORIG.
