Photograph caption dated March 27, 1957 reads, "Big sorting job begins - Bascom M. Shanks Jr., left, store executive, and Det. Sgt. Richard Ruble began tremendous job of sorting some $10,000 worth of merchandise which was recovered in Pacoima home. Items found ranged from outboard motor for boat to an oil painting.
