Photograph caption dated August 4, 1964 reads, "But it doesn't bother young Clifford Colley, 4, of Canoga Park. He wants the autograph of Smokey the Bear. Watching and providing a pencil is U. S. Forest Ranger Jess Barton, in charge of the new headquarters for Tujunga District of the Angeles National Forest. The new building, located in Sylmar, opened Friday."
